Pageant - The Triple Wedding

About the Pageant

The Triple Wedding was a unique event in the life of the early colony of NSW and this pageant will bring our Hassall family story to life in a way that will enthuse all members of the family. It tells the story of Rowland and Elizabeth Hassall, their arrival in the new colony, and the day that 3 of their 8 surviving children all got married in the Parramatta Church. The 3 were Samuel, Jonathan, and Mary Hassall.

These photos were taken at the performance of the pageant at the 225 Year Reunion on Saturday 6 May 2023 at THAC (Thomas Hassall Anglican College). Most of the performers were 6th, 7th, or 8th generation Hassalls.
